Please email images or provide a link to your website in order to be considered for our gallery.  This is the best way to share your work for consideration in our gallery.  
We love finding new artists to share with Southport!

Unfortunately, we are not able to review your work when you drop in unannounced. We are incredibly busy making a great customer experience everyday in the store.  

We recommend visiting our gallery in person, or reviewing our social media accounts, to make sure our gallery is the right fit for your work before you apply.  We typically represent established artists with a regular practice & a cohesive body of work.   Submitting images or a website with a bio that indicates other shows, galleries, or markets gives us a good understanding of your level of experience.  If you've found this page before you come into the store to ask how to be represented by us, you earn bonus points!  

Please send us an informal bio along with your images or website.  Consider including such information as how long you have been making your work, your medium(s), any awards or honors, and other shows or gallery representation.  

Out of respect for our fellow local galleries, and for our own exclusivity, we do not show artists that are already in another central Southport gallery.  Franklin Square Gallery is the one exception to this rule.

Hilary is an MFA trained multi-media artist.  She has attended Penland School of Crafts several times, earned her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and has several installations of her large scale wall drawings around the country. She's exhibited art nationwide & had her drawings licensed for commercial work.
